THE COURSE

Mission Trails Golf Course is situated below Cowles Mountain and travels along the shores of Lake Murray. Mission Trails Golf Course is most famous for hosting a young Tiger Woods as he began his fame by winning the Optimist Junior World Championship.

Designed by legendary William Bell, this course has a unique blend of scenery and challenges. Natural and manmade obstacles riddle the course causing even the most experienced golfers to think twice. Mission Trails Golf Course is 5,840 yards to the longest tee and has a par of 71. The rating is 68.8 and the slope is 118.

GREEN FEES

To golf this picturesque course, book your tee time today. Tee times can be booked online, through the website, by phone or in person. Golfers can book tee times up to 14 days in advance. Cart fees are not included. Proper golf attire is required.

Pro Shop

If your gear is in need of an upgrade, be sure to visit the pro shop at Mission Trails Golf Course. The PGA certified professional staff members can help you determine what you need as well as the best brands and the proper size for you. If you would like detailed course conditions and playing tips, these are also the people for you.

Restaurants

If a game of gold leaves you starving, stop in at the café for a bite to eat. From the traditional hotdog and sandwich to the more exotic, they offer a mix of it all. If you are thirsty, you can get a cold soda or hot cup of coffee. They also have beer, wine and spirits.

PRACTICE FACILITY

If you want to take a few swings off your handicap, the practice facility is the perfect place for you. They have a driving range with state of the art mats and target greens ranging from 75 to 200 yards. This allows you to perfect your long game.

To work on the short game, they have two large putting greens. They also have chipping greens, practice bunkers and other obstacles. Buckets of balls are available from the pro shop for a nominal cost
