Parichat’s Thai Spa holds to traditional Thai principles. These are the same principles introduced by the man who treated the Buddha, Shivago Komarpaj, nearly 2,500 years ago. They attempt to stay as close to these principles as they can. Because of this, traditional Thai style treatments including massage, facial, herbal body wraps and more.
Services Offered
At Parichat’s Spa, Thai massage is the cornerstone of all the services. In this treatment, the client lies on the floor, dressed in massage shorts. The therapists use their hands, feet and body to gently stretch, knead, and rub the muscles to release tension and restore balance.
Another traditional Thai technique is reflexology. In this, the feet are manipulated to relieve pain and other body symptoms. By utilizing traditional methods, the therapist can find and relieve tension in any part of the body.
Other forms of massage, including Swedish and deep tissue are also offered. In these massages, the client lies on a table and the therapist manipulates the body to remove tension and other pain-inducing conditions. This is a much more passive form of massage than the Thai massage. To these forms of massage, hot stones, aromatherapy or herbal oils can be added.
Those who have visited Thailand come back raving about the facials offered. At Parichat’s Spa, they have brought those traditional methods to the states. They use traditional herbs, botanicals and other substances to build masks, scrubs, peels and steam treatments. Each treatment is custom built to represent the needs of the client.
Body scrubs and wraps are another traditional Thai treatment. At Parichat, the most popular treatment is the lava wrap. This involves hot lava rocks being placed on the client before they are wrapped in sea weed and a thinning foil wrap. Salt and sugar scrubs are also available.
