THE COURSE
When David Rainville designed the golf course at Welk Resort San Diego Fountains, he kept the natural beauty of the area in mind. He utilized the existing trees and natural obstacles, added some man-made obstacles and created a course that keeps the beginner in mind while not boring their more seasoned counterparts. The signature 5th hole contains a long, narrow fairway and several challenging trees.
This course measures 3968 yards from the furthest tee. It has a par of 62 and a rating of 58.9. The slope is 102. The resort is also home to a smaller, nine hole course known as the Oaks Course. This course has a par of 27.

GREEN FEES
To experience this amazing course, book your tee time today. Unlimited passes, ten play cards and other discounts are available. Proper golf attire is required and metal spikes are prohibited. Golfers must be 10 years of age to play the course. Cart drivers must be 18 years of age.

Pro Shop
If you are in need of clubs, apparel, accessories, clubs, balls or shoes, be sure to visit the pro shop. They have all of the brand names you have grown to trust at prices you can afford. The staff is also available to book tee time, handle cart rentals, discuss course conditions and more. On Wednesday, they even give resort guests an extra 10 percent off all apparel.
Dining
The Welk Resort has several restaurants on site. For a quick lunch between rounds, they offer Pizza Hut Express and a 9th hole snack shop. While lounging at the pool, they offer poolside dining. For in room dining, they have a marketplace as well as grocery delivery and room service.
The most popular dining venue is the Canyon Grille. The Canyon Grille offers a type of cuisine they like to call California Casual. They are open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also offer an incredible Sunday brunch and a special brunch on all major holidays.
PRACTICE FACILITY
Improving your handicap has never been easier than it is at the Welk Resort. Aside from the fully renovated driving range and putting and chipping greens, they also offer free clinics for resort members. Private lessons, from PGA certified instructors, are also available upon request.
