ABOUT
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is so much more than a zoo. Sure you can see plenty of animals, but there are also live shows, animal interactions, and awesome activities and play areas for kids and adults alike.
Choose from a variety of different safari encounters to embark on, or even stay overnight at a safari camping adventure. You’ll find plenty of shopping venues and eateries throughout the park also.
ATTRACTIONS
Zoo Safari Park has some awesome excursions for you to check out. The Cart Safari is a guided tour in an open vehicle where you can choose to see the African animals or the Asian animals. Your knowledgeable guide will help you learn all you want to know about the stars of the park. View rhinoceros, giraffes, and many other animals in their own natural habitat. Cheetah Run lets you see these amazing cats run at their maximum speed of 60-70mph on a specially designed track. Behind the Scenes safari will take you into restricted areas of the park to the savannah, the jungle, or even to the veterinary center.
If you prefer a little more adventure, the Jungle Ropes safari might be just for you. Travel through the treetops on a challenging course that will have you crossing bridges, navigating moving platforms, and take you up to 35-feet off the ground. There are 3 levels to choose from. Tackle one or advance to all 3. If that wasn’t enough of an adrenaline rush for you, Flightline Safari should be your next stop. Get strapped in and fly like a bird over deer, rhinos and more at heights of 160 feet in the air. The zipline is 470-feet long and guarantees you an amazing ride.
When you decide you’re having so much fun you can’t leave the park, you might want to check out the Roar and Snore safari. Learn about different animals up close and personal. Join in the campfire for group fun. Enjoy a wonderful outdoor meal, then cozy up in your tent and sleep listening to the animal sounds around you. Wake to a delicious hot breakfast.
