THE COURSE
Set on Lake Hodges, The Vineyards at Escondido feature a variety of breath-taking views. It features acres of untouched wildlife preserve and flourishing grape vineyards. Between the wetlands, the mountain vistas and the five natural lakes, David Rainville could not have found a better template when he placed this amazing course. Orfila Vineyard and Winery in San Pasqual Valley is the quintessential Wine Country sight and this golf course is the cherry on top!
The scenery, however, has nothing on the actual course. This course features a variety of exact shots and narrow fairways. Many people rave about the signature third hole, a deceptively simple, 125 yard par 3 that is set over water. This 18 hole course features a par of 70. It is 6,301 yards to the longest tee and has a rating of 71. The slope is 126.

GREEN FEES
To experience this breath-taking course, book your tee time today. Tee times can be booked up to seven days in advance. This can be done online, in person or by phone. Proper golf attire is required and metal spikes are prohibited.

They carry all of the brand names you have grown to love at prices you can respect. If you can?t find the perfect item, be sure to ask. They can special order it for you. They also enjoy discussing course conditions, golf scores and more.
Dining
Whether you are a wine connoisseur or just a guy who likes a beer, you can quench your thirst at the Vineyard at Escondido. They carry a variety of local, limited barrel wines and beers from area microbreweries. If you are hungry, they also have daily food specials including Early 9 holes and breakfast and Vineyard Golf and Lunch. The dining facility is open daily.
PRACTICE FACILITY
If you want to take a few swings off your handicap, the practice facility is just the place for you. The driving range has 31 stalls with both grass and mats. The stalls are covered for comfort in any weather. They also have two putting greens and a separate area for instructional hitting.
